Raising funds for our school is a crucial part of what the PTO does. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised by the PTO come back to our children in the form of important classroom tools and equipment, educational programs, enhancements to our school, subsidized field trips, and more. Our fundraisers for this year will be our Dance-a-Thon and Popcorn Fridays.
Shoparoo, Redner’s Save-a-Tape, and Box Tops for Education are also great ways we can earn money for our school. These programs require little effort and do not require you to spend any additional money. We will be conducting contests throughout the school year and will award prizes for top collecting students, classrooms, and/or grade levels.
Shoparoo is school fundraising made easy: the free app turns pictures of your everyday shopping receipts (at nearly every store and establishment) into cash donations and sweepstakes entries for our school! Yep, it’s that simple. The PTO is holding a contest from March 1–31. The grade level that earns the most points will receive a popcorn and movie day!

Redner’s Save-a-Tape
By using your Pump Perks/1% Save-A-Tape card each time you purchase merchandise at Redner’s Warehouse Markets, your receipt will be designated as a 1% Save-A-Tape customer receipt. Send/bring in your receipts, and a PTO member will submit all receipts on your behalf.
Box Tops for Education
Visit www.btfe.com to sign up for their newsletter, view a list of participating products, print valuable coupons, and play daily sweepstakes to win more cash for our school. Please also consider downloading the Box Top app, where there is an opportunity to earn between 2–100 bonus tops when you scan your receipts. Kellee Macklin is the PTO’s Box Top Coordinator.
